Will I be allowed to stay on the forum if I say that I like the orange ring?

Agreed. 2029 is next bitcoin bull cycle peak. Orange will be back in full force and that includes orange rings on speakers.
My wife approves said controversial ring color on the speaker - pheew, dodged a bullet here!

Here we are, bored middle aged men waxing on ring colors on Valentine’s Day instead of queuing for flowers…oh how the mighty have fallen
I can only speak for myself, but in my middle-age I have achieved at least enough wisdom to queue for flowers the day before. That leaves much more time for waxing on about ring colors on internet forums.

Geee...I wake up and we're still at orange ring level. I hope Palmer answers soon on other specs-related questions so we can move on from that extraordinarily inconsequential matter.
We're creating hype for the product. Whether it's positive or negative, in the end we're generating interest for the manufacturer, and I think that matters. We all understand that if this product does what it's designed to do well, it's going to be a huge hit in the market, right? It's a wet tangerine dream for some ;)

This is the internet. People get annoyed and argue about tiniest thing :)
I am not bothered by the ring and only care if it measures as well as they promise. If yes it will likely an impulsive purchase from me.

I'm looking at this together with the forthcoming line of Cambridge actives:

If I have this right, the market in his sort of speaker has an upper, $10K+ level (e.g. Kii, Dutch & Dutch), a sort of mid-level (e.g. Buchardt, Dynaudio) and now perhaps an emerging lower level. If the Palmer and Cambridge speakers measure well the revolution has happened.

Ordered, paid for and I went for white with the oranger ring!
Should be here next week!
I will report whether the orange ring is as distracting as some fear!
I may even mention the sound quality.
Keith

Its foremost a studio product features and look reflects that :) looks like an excellent speaker for its application.
( a home version could be without orange rings ;) )

For a small home setup, you need to have some extra equipment to serve an analog or aes signal from streaming or other sources .
( suggestions ) . This is not entirely bad , imho I miss an optical or spdiff input and a sub output. But it migth not fit the small panel .

Seems like performance in this size category was a serious design goal . Probably good choices all over even if people lika me wants more features, palmer probably knows what their customers need .
