Palmer ORBIT 11 Cardioid Coaxial 3-way studio monitor (MSRP 799€/899$)

Palmer Orbit 11 Monitor Review and the ones posted in this thread
Sorry, I still don't understand what you mean by "the Measure is sufficient to derive/interpolate this method."

My instructions above are for level-matching the Orbit 11 to another playback system for A/B comparison.

If the microphone used for this is frequency response corrected, then in the same stroke you would also measure in-room frequency response.

Whereas a generic microphone would only be good for relative level differences between the two systems.

Apologys, @staticV3, perhaps... is Palmer Orbit 11 Monitor Review Measure, and the ones posted in this thread, sufficient to derive/interpolate your method. You have clarifyed, thank you, by indicateing 'My instructions above are for level-matching', although/perhaps it does suggest the question.... is the Review Measure/s sufficient, doesn't it, perhaps not in all instances?

No, you cannot use just Amir's measurement review to level-match your own playback systems at home.

For that, you will have to do some measurements yourself, but this is inexpensive and fairly straightforward.

Thank you, @staticV3, No, the intent was, 'do we even need to compare'? Is the Measure (such as the Palmer Orbit 11 Monitor Review Measure) sufficient? Perhaps not in all instances, and if not then what are all of the Measure Deficiencys, to be aware of them, reasonable?

It gets worse (again, I am just sharing amusing tidbits from the same page of the ORBIT 11 manual):

This product is not suitable for children and persons with limited physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
So funny is this because of legal disclaimer?

Lots of speakers have more low end than ATC.

Ooops, we're on page #100 now ... how many of these could be deleted that referred to the 'magic' orange (tangerine) ring?
