I couldn’t really resist trying these, despite the tangerine!
Palmers ’ORBIT II’ available in black and white, £799 inc vat per unit, from next week.

Have you heard them yet, Keith?
The concept sounds very interesting, and £800 isn't expensive if the speakers deliver what they promise.

I haven't heard them yet, but I have spoken to Oli and Lee at Adam Hall and they said they compared very favourably with both Genelec and Neumann units when they were invited to hear them in Germany pre-production.
As you say £800 (£1600 a pair) isn’t that expensive and the available measurements look decent, we shall see when they arrive which should be very soon.

Palmer ‘Orbit 11’ page added to the PA site, Florian posted some extremely fine THD measurements just this morning which I will add.

Thanks Static, Apollo 11 was pretty successful, hopefully Orbit 11 will also prove to be.
@BeeKay will do!

Just received notification of delivery!

Jealous. I'll probably have to wait a month or more (probably also due to US idiotic customs/tariff situation).

Keith, any reason you’re asking ~£100 more per unit than other vendors, e.g. Gear4Music?
For no other reason that Palmer stated that was the UK RRP, I will of course match the other retailers prices,
Keith

First impressions, heavy!

Using the same ‘Custom Design’ SQ404 stands that I use with AsciLab A6B/C6B/F6B,

Rear view, just using the analogue ‘in’,

From the top, there is a foam filling in the cardioid slots.
