It's not the assembly, it's sourcing all the parts that is the problem. If i have to do it myself it has high chance of failure and the cost would spiral out of control due to shipping costs.

That's true, I have tried to limit the part sources in the BOM to at least two. However as you have rightfully noted be prepared to spend between $60 to $100 in extra costs.
