@Brian Hall this is a band out of Vancouver Canada. They got MTV playtime for a few months intermittently. The lead singer played in the record department. This is sort of the sound I see you and them going for in the 1980s.

Thanks. It sounded better when we had the full group do it, but never got a recording of that.
I'm serious... it sounds good just needs some mixing and PEQ at recording time.

This one we went for a different sound. I wrote this one, sang the first half and played bass. The guitarist sang the second half and played guitar. Again too much treble.

I lost the original 4 track recordings so I can't easily fix them.

I just remembered something about this one.

The line "False prophets speak of dying as they ask us for our cash" was about Oral Roberts. He was a TV preacher and he was saying if he didn't get X amount of money by a certain time for something or other, that God was going to call him home.

There was a terrorist attack around the same time and that gave me "Third world fanatics, seeking early death. Screaming out their hate as they draw their last breath".

A live recording of the full band. I think this was just a straight stereo out from the mixing board. This song was written by the guitarist. He also sang it. I played bass. Had another guitarist and a very crazy drummer.

I say crazy drummer, because he would always cut his forehead with a knife and then wrap a bandanna soaked in LSD around his head every time we played. Pretty good drummer though. o_O

A live recording in a garage. The guitarist's brother had just received a simmons drum set and wanted to play something on it. It was a hot day, no AC in the garage.

The guitarist came up with some music and I wrote some lyrics. We turned on the recorder and just played, mostly making it up as we went along. I had just bought an octaver and he wanted to try singing through it to lower his voice. We were drinking beer and laughing our butts off as we played it. I think he sang part of it in Klingon.

Good times.

I never developed it but maybe one day I will.

New audiovisual work.
This time dedicated to my son who was a great skater in his teens and is now an excellent restaurateur with a recommendation from the Michelin guide and a sommelier who has won several national blind tastings.
