Ordering integrating OG Analog preamps with Wiim Ultra as hub

I use a WiiM Ultra as my primary hub for TV & streaming. With my furniture arrangement I don't want my bulky older sources together with the primary system.

I keep my older components in an adjoining room with my Adcom GFP-555 as the hub for my turntable and tuner. I connect the Adcom Tape Out to a WiiM Pro RCA-In and my CD player to the WiiM Pro Optical-In.

When I occasionally use my older sources I just group the WiiM Pro to the Ultra and listen through my primary system.

interesting, but a completely different use case

Mine is not restricted to "home" use, semi portable off grid, all one system just switching "modes" for film nights, dance parties vs solo critical listening

Minimising space taken and power consumption are future goals, for now I am focused on my learning and under a very low budget.

If the best LC turns out to be my Adcom preamp I will likely sacrifice the space required, the triple processor loops also being a great advantage

but I suspect the Eitr 2 will be fine - if Mimir's superior LC adjustment is not required.

@john61ct I would use the WiiM Ultra for all my sources, usb output into Camilla DSP for EQ and loudness management and then to a dac.
Yes if I do end up requiring DSP, then I will look at the LC function again.

Anyone know of good auto-variable RPi based Volume/LC implementations?

This project

looks promising to get a wireless Big Knob (Fosi Audio VOL20) at MLP

@90sNintendoKid

Can you give CamillaDSP based examples of the above?

Or others on RPi? as passthrough not player...
I’ve done this in the past: WiiM Ultra USB output to Raspberry Pi and then usb output to a Fosi ZD3. I even got dynamic rate switching working (confirmed by ZD3 screen).

I followed the excellent and detailed Raspberry Pi and Camilladsp tutorial by @mdsimon2.

There’s a thread linked in the GitHub page and instructions on how to enable usb gadget which requires a usb type c splitter cable for power and data and I plugged that into the raspberry pi power/data input and the WiiM Ultra into the data port of the splitter.

Sorry I did not make my question clear enough, I was specifically asking about a Loudness Contour tied to auto-curve with Volume Level

implemented on CamillaDSP

I’ve done this in the past:

But thanks for those tips too

Aha, tx, I assumed there would be lotsa competing choices, but that one looks nice and configurable
