Ordering from miniDSP - Will I be subject to the new tariff??

I am about to order the miniDSP FLEX HT, and I understand that it will be shipped from Hong Kong. Will I be subject to the new tariff, such as an additional 10% tax or any other applicable amount?

Right now, if it’s under $800, no. If it’s over $800, pretty sure you will be charged.

I got hit with tariff, DHL held it. In the end the cost for my htx was exactly what deer creek audio was selling at. Additionally had to give up my SSN.

My recommendation is to get it via some US retailer if you can find it. Cost might end up being same but less issues.

For China (incl Hong Kong ) it's min $250 btw, anything over $250 will be hit with tariff.

Thank you. I just ordered Flex balanced from Amazon, via Deer Creek audio (they have their own minidsp page).
Paid $733 (with local sales tax) for next day delivery. $570 listed price at MiniDSP. Ouch.
