Quite frankly, the ignore button works wonders. I did peek to see what he is currently pulling our leg with.
Hopefully his claim of leaving is more factual than his aggrandizing posts.

Can someone do a test where instead of adding £100’s of opamps to each v3 they simply buy another pair of V3 monos and quad amp their speakers. I bet that makes more of a difference to sound quality.

Passive bi-amping is quite the waste of money as well.
 
I got my V3 on kickstarter. I opted for the Muses 2 offer at the same time. These external amplifiers replaced the onboard nCore amps in an NAD M10 as an experiment to see if there was any possible benefit to upgrading to the NAD C298 which is a way more expensive proposition than the V3 pair. Reports here suggested the V3 measured similarly to the C298 which piqued my interest, this was a toe in the water.

I listened to them for a while as delivered and sometime later installed the MUSES op amps and they are still there today. Are they better than standard? I don't know, but they are probably no worse and it sounds pretty good irrespective of the price. I never did buy the C298, the Fosi V3 mono pair was good enough. Would I do as some do and try this op amp and that op amp? Not at all. I got where I need to be and have no desire to know any more. And this review explains why.
I’ve replaced one amp with a brand new one and just plugged it in without changing the opamp. So one amp is modified with a Muses opamp and one is not. And there is no discernible audible difference so far as I can tell.

So will I swap the old one back to standard? I can’t hear a difference so it will remain as it is.

Opamps were supplied at no cost as part of the kickstarter deal.
I too got the Muses from the kickstarter launch, but only two which made no sense considering you need four for the v3’s. I put them in my workshop BT20pro and I heard no difference.
 
10 times 1 part per million is 10 parts per million.

Or -120dB times 10 is = -100dB or 20dB greater distortion.

Passive biamping provides no change in distortion. Not 1 part per million difference -- zero. So there's that too.

Your passive parts in your passive Bi-amp will add at least one part per million THD+N. We are back to where we started. low distortion is Not--zero

Since you spread semantic confusion, sound quality isn't measured in dB. Threshold of perception, perhaps. In which case this is so far below threshold of perception it is inaudible. Can you write down inaudibility in decibels?!?

Nope. You don't seem to understand what passive bi-amping does and does not add over driving a speaker with a single amp.

Of course, your absurd assertion assumes that both amps in the passive bi-amp config have identical distortion, which no two devices have if you were to measure the two with -120dB resolution, as you assert.

I've actually measured the effect of passive bi-amping - it has no benefit over driving speakers with a single amplifier. If you have measurements to share please do. I'm not interested in semantics though.

I did not make the claim of zero. You maid that claim. You made the measurements. What were the results?

There is a good thread on bi-amping. In it I measure the distortion due to electrical interaction of drivers with a single amp vs. passive bi-amp. I did this because it is the one aspect of passive bi-amping I have never seen measured. Considering the equivalent circuit of the amp + speaker, it isn't reasonable to think that there would be interaction strong enough to generate a signal that would be acoustically measurable, and even audible. Which is exactly what I observed, the differences are lower than run to run repeatability in a very quiet room.
Inaudibility is plausible but a bit difficult to document.
Well, -100dB is orders of magnitude beyond audibility, that one isn't hard at all.
