Hi Everyone,
And I updated again the review with new and/or updated measurements from the latest Test CD, especially the crosstalk, but also the digital section as I think the intersample-overs test better reflects no modification of the digital signal.
Since this is the CD Player I very often cite as a reference, I need to keep it up to date!
Also, I played a bit more than usual with my Cosmos ADC interface and did some measurements at 768kHz input, which allowed me to look at the out of audio band response, up to 384kHz:
I limited the scale to 370kHz but, after the comment of @Scytales about the VLSC analog filter post DAC, I wanted to see if this player would show some noise shaping technique and/or if it would be filtered by the analog VLSC. And, well, maybe beyond 200kHz indeed. I'll keep this measurement in mind for future reviews, should it be of use.
