Onkyo A-9110 Impedance setting?

I am using the Micca mb42x g2 and I just got this new Onkyo A-9110. I'm confused about the impedance setting. As I seen in the review on this page those speakers go down quite low to 3.9 and as high as around 20 ohms.

Anyone have any idea which setting would be better, 4 or 8 ohm setting.

4-Ohms should be "safer".

If you don't know this, resistance and impedance (both Ohms) is "the resistance to current flow". With the "wrong" setting you may get too much current and over-stress the amplifier.

I would assume setting the receiver to 4-Ohms lowers the power supply voltage to the output circuitry. That could make the maximum (wattage) power the same for 4 or 8-Ohm speakers.
