I've been considering adding a subwoofer with my 8351b's and I would like to stick with Genelec subwoofers in order to use GLM. In the US I can get 2 8 inch 7350 SAM subs for $1260 per sub or 1 10 inch 7360 for $2560. The 7350 goes to 22hz the 7360 to 19hz. I've never tried to incorporate a subwoofer which is why I would like to stay with GLM. My question is which way would give the best result, my gut feeling is 2 of the 7350 but maybe my gut is wrong and 1 of the 7360 would work better. This is only for a 2.1 or 2.2 system not a HT setup. I couldn't find a subwoofer thread so I hope this is the right sub forum. Thanks for any input.

Hi

Not a Genelec expert. I don't know how GLM deals with multiple subwoofers but I'd go with 2 ... too :D

Since Genelec recommends the 7370A for the 8351B, I'd take at least the 7360A with the intention of buying another later on. If you absolutely don't plan on doing this, I suppose two 7350A may be better (equivalent SPL with the +6 dB pair gain and all the avantages of two subs).
On the same topic, I'd absolutely take two 7360A instead of a single 7370A.

After doing a bit more research I think you're right about using the 7360 and looking into a second later. Thanks
