When I listen to some songs that are around 100 years old, I get the feeling of watching a cartoon. I like them, anyway, maybe because of that, .. I do not know.

This is at least about something as adult as having sex. I think "Makin 'Whoopee" became synonymous, slang, with having sex after the song became popular, but you Americans know more about that.

Although most pop songs then as now are about relationships, love and sex. Perhaps with the exception of the beginning 1950, mid-1950s. Then it turned out to be very chaste. I think it seems like.

There's plenty of American folk and blues from that time period that was later covered/borrowed/stolen. Some were lucky enough to get rediscovered in later life.
