Question about the trigger out. I read it is 5V.
Will it work with a Rotel device that has a 12V trigger in?
Which rotel device?

So it exists ?
I'm on DAC8Pro Firmware 1.0Recent DAC8 Stereo is shipped with Firmware 1.11.
Interesting, I got box week ago.I'm on DAC8Pro Firmware 1.0
I'm seen discussions there is at least a 1.34, or even an 1.40
Questionable. AFAIK, the dual XLR connectors per channel are internally connected to each other. Is it plausible to connect the DAC to my amp via the XLR connectors and also connect the DAC to my active subwoofer using RCA / XLR adapter cables?
That will not work. Here is an example of what I was thinking to plug the RCAs from the subwoofer into the second set of XLRs on the DAC. Thank you for your response above.

These are "stress" tests. The sine at -90dBFS still looks like a sine. It means low level information is stellar. A "bad" DAC would result in something that looks much, much worse.
If you read the figure description carefully, you'll see its a undithered 24bit sinewave at -90.31dBFS.
