I'm the first owner of this pair of Dutch & Dutch 8Cs, which have been used exclusively in a kid-free, climate-controlled, non-smoking listening room kept under 70 degrees. They have been powered exclusively from a series mode surge protector since they were new, and are the only devices connected to a 20A dedicated "speaker" circuit. (The non-series mode surge protector in one of the photos powers equipment with no electrical path to the speakers and is on a separate 15A circuit.)
Because I'm busy and am not an audio professional, these speakers have been very lightly used since I acquired them in mid-2018; I estimate that they have been powered on for six hours per month on average to listen to classical music at low to moderate volumes. The cabinets are pristine, but I'm docking a point because of the age of the loudspeakers.
They have the most recent Dutch & Dutch firmware and work perfectly with REW. I have never attempted to stream to these loudspeakers using Roon, so I cannot comment on that functionality.
I have the original shipping boxes, power cables, and documentation, but, because of the risk of damage to these relatively expensive and heavy loudspeakers, I am not willing to ship them. They can be picked up from my house in Scarsdale, New York, and if you're serious, I can demo them for you.
These 8Cs are out of manufacturer warranty and are offered 'as is', with no seller warranty.
The pictured Skylan stands, which are filled with dry sand, can be included for free with the speakers. No shipping crates for the stands are available.
