Congrats & All the Best @Alexander Lin

Dangit. I'd already been having trouble deciding between picking up the ampapa D1 or the onoorus D3pro.
And now there's a D4 pro which.... seems to have all the D3pro features, but with a few extra controls on top. Less of a 'screen' than the D1 or D3pro but I was already thinking that after the novelty wore off I'd probably have the screens turned down to minimum brightness (or off) anyway.

Dangit. I may just buy one of these and hope it's good.

@Guddu @Alexander Lin
Hello, O-noorus website is missing a lot of information and also the manual download for understanding better the ux experience .
Do you know the max power (48v-10A) @4 Ohm ? 200w each channel ? Do yo know if we can adjust right/left power output for each channel ? Is Rca input also output (like D3 pro) ? Does usb c deliver 5v output ? is Hdmi ARC also CEC ? Does D4 pro is sharing some similar functionality as D3 pro ? Best regards to o-noorus dreamteam.

Been looking at this for a while now because I like the physical knobs and the integrated DAC circuitry.
If anyone know a similar device please let me know.

Back to the D4 Pro. O-noorus tells me via E-mail that the specs, test data and general information on this unit is going to go live (edit: On their site of course) sometime on Saturday.
So... Waiting patiently for that.

I've gotten word from the rep on their official AliExpress store that the release has been delayed, as they are looking to add e-ARC support to the HDMI port. The D4 Pro is listed as out of stock for now.

Was super excited for this launch and was going to be an instant purchase for me, but eARC support would be pretty great to have. I'm fine with waiting a bit longer for that (hopefully not too long...)

Anyone got an ETA on the new release date?

I purchased it from the official website. After sending an email, I was told that shipping would take place on February 15th. However, I would have preferred it if this information had also been stated on the website

I also purchased (two units) from the official website (on Feb 16). Also after sending an email, I received a response on Mar 3 that it would be released on Mar 12.

Did you ever receive yours?

Ok, thanks. Sounds like I'm rolling the dice. Did you cancel before or after their stated Feb 15th ship date?

I notice that Ali Express states they have 7 units in stock, albeit at a MUCH higher price.

Thanks.

I'll report back any updates I receive.

To continue the conversation about the D4 Pro - This is the only device I have found that will do what I need in a single box at a decent price:
  • USB Input for audio from PC
  • HPF for speakers
  • Subwoofer pre-out
  • Enough watts to push my smallish near field setups at a decent volume with some headroom.
If I cannot get my hands on the D4 Pro very soon, my backup plan is running a $100 Topping DX1 (USB Audio) into a $80 Deuk A5 (HPF + sub pre-out) which would be the same price as this $180 D4 pro (after adding the 48V power supply on their website). AliExpress shows it will arrive in a week or two, but $280 is overkill for me when the DX1 + A5 solution exists.

@Alexander Lin or any current owners ...

I'm having trouble finding the physical dimensions of this unit ... can anyone share measurements from an actual D4 Pro?

Thank you!

Dimensional diagrams have been added now; parametric diagrams will be added later.

Has anyone else published reviews/measurements of this unit? I wonder why there is not much hype around this unit with near perfect functionality. I'm using it for TV duties in a 13x13 open concept living room and it seems impressive. HDMI CEC works flawlessly and the filters allow easy integration with sub. I have used it on all 4 different speaker, speaker/sub setup I have and at decent listening levels this unit is fine driving them. I don't have measurements, but sound quality seems as good as the other 3 TPA3255 based amps I have by other manufacturers. Would be interested to see independent measurements though. @Alexander Lin , any plans of sending a sample for testing to Amirm?

OK,Thank you for your attention. As requested, I will send a D4 PRO to Amirm for review. I hope this review will not be a long time coming.

I have one of these, which I bought direct from O-noorus based on the info I found here. I would agree that it's got a great feature set. It feels well built and most importantly, sounds good to my ear, but I also have no measurements to share. I use it with an old Bravia TV via ARC, a Sony X700 via coax S/PDIF for SACD (PCM at 96kHz, I think) and Bluetooth for streaming from the family's phones, feeding some Tannoy MX1s and a Wharfedale sub. It doesn't go super-loud but is loud enough to irritate my wife so probably for the best, and all seems to work as I would want, so a happy cuatomer.
