the dac isnt bad but its over a decade old and as a result is only 24/192

so having a 32/384 usb input is kind of a waste

its one of those things where they try to make it do too much but it does nothing well

probably better off with a dac and whatever is coming from fosi after october

I found it kind of useful, the dac chip used is good enough for the amplification.
Don't think there is any use of SOTA dac with TPA3255 amp.

Interesting alternative for the day my loxjie a30 dies. And cheaper! I wish it is a decent one.
Audiophonics has different power specs:

It is TPA3255 based amplifier based on details, and different psu can provide deferent output.
There are no internal pics available yet, but it comes with 32v 5a psu.

Confusing use of red and white RCAs - I assumed they were line in until I opened the pic. As usual overblown power output claims, and no details of how the sub out works. It will be interesting to see how it actually performs.

Looks like a Topping MX3s copy, sans the headphone amp and more power yet not as clean

I expect this one to have more power output than MX3s. Don't know if it can match Aiyima/Fosi 3255 amps performance.

As usual we should have measurements, don't quite trust the brands and their numbers, especially not the 2x300w number

You are correct, but I wasn’t referring to 300W.
We have several 3255 amps measured, that can give fair idea.

Has anyone already acquired a D3, and how is the USB input implemented?
