O-Noorus D3 PRO - A new TPA3255 PFFB amplifier with DAC

200 dollars is expensive?
That's pretty much on a par with the already cheap competitors, with sometimes better ICs for DAC and Bluetooth.
But without an expensive screen (Aiyima A80). So it depends. And Aiyima has proven record of its reliability, also better warranty service etc.

As always, consumers will vote according to their own preferences and wallets. In absolute terms, the O-Noorus D3 Pro also offers a very good price-performance ratio.

It's not just the Aiyima A80, there are also D4 and D3 from O-Noorus' own company that compete with the D3 Pro - and they are cheaper.

Here for example the D4 with mainly identical Features at 129$ with Power Supply

Just because O-noorus is on the front doesn't mean that very good component quality is cheaper for them than for other companies. But I agree with you that the D3 Pro should be at least on a par with the A80 in terms of measurement technology.

I myself am looking forward to seeing what the first opinions and measurements reveal, although, as I wrote, I would be delighted if Amir were to test an O-Noorus.

D4 is nice but the DAC audio resolution is limited. Not terrible, but not reach CD quality (I read about 13 bit sample rate in the ASR review).

(I am not professional, maybe my interpretation is not good.)

200 Dollar is expensive.
Please reconsider prices.
No one would mind anything cheaper but….
With the components it has got, It isn’t expensive.
Is there a similar product for less?

A80 doesn’t compete with this new one in features - HDMI ARC, dual USB input, BT ver., SW out, DAC used……

- HDMI ARC is rather a bug not a feature if they use the same solution as it was built in D4.
- SW will be adjustable, it can be a great advantage indeed
- DAC here Aiyima should be better based on the chipset, but as we know the implementation matters much more (ESS9038Q2M > AKM AK4493S)
- BT if it is support aptX-HD it doesn't matter, just numbers

To Sum up I am more curious about the reliability and the service background, and also how handle stand bye mode, remote etc.
Time will tell which product is better, but certainly one is exsist already ;-)

Don't think I am opposing you, In fact Aiyima A80 is my daily driver in one of my setup and I have expressed a few times about it.

I understand what you are saying in related with D4's HDMI because that made me took it out quickly as well, but it may not be true for D3 Pro or at least we don't know that yet. And they are working on it to fix and optimize.

You already said implementation matters. However I don't hesitate saying that I like Geshelli J2 AK4493 more than ESS ones I have or I have had and its my personal choice.

I'll differ simply because I do use BT.

This is the reason I spend time creating owner's thread (and believe me you I spend really good amount of time even before thinking putting owner's thread) so that we, thankfully, might get the feedback (including issues) from other owners.
Now that O-Noorus are selling on Amazon, I think it gives a fair period for owner to evaluate and decide.

Couldn't agree more, two ticks.

Does O-Noorus use one or two TPA3255s in the D3 Pro?

@ICIETDIYEUR

Now that the D3 Pro has been officially announced, can you share the picture showing the internal components please?

Hi.

D3 PRO is announced but not yet marketed... ;)

The D3 PRO is already on sale in China, and I've already bought one and I'll go back in the evening and try it out.

In fact, in China, Amplifiers is a very niche area where young people prefer to buy headphones rather than sit on the sofa and listen to music, and older people still have prejudice against Class D Amplifiers. We also hardly have much time to calm down and listen to music. Work and family almost fill up all our time. Anyway, I'm very glad that there are still people who can develop cost-effective D-class power amplifiers now, and the price of getting good sound is getting cheaper and cheaper.

Hi Xenosagas, could you communicate your first sensations after one week using the D3 pro o-noorus ? Better if you can describe your equipment (dac, speakers, your music listening...) The price in China ? What others china's people says about it in Social netwotks ? Thanks, have a nice day.

@Alexander Lin , @ICIETDIYEUR Do you have some news for the D3 Pro availability and price ? Did you optimize the SINAD ? and implement a volume control left/right for the speakers level output ? Have a nice day.

Did you mean individual left/right volume controls or a balance control?
Yes, balance control, left and right volume level control. Because in mine, but i think for many people, it's difficult or impossible to be listening in the perfect center between the two stereo speakers... so, to have an access to adjust the volume of each speaker is a very usefull option !

1. Channel balance will increase, which is only effective when the audio passes through NJW1194. On the master volume, the offset is adjustable within ±5.
2. Color and brightness can be controlled by remote knobs
3. 15-minute countdown to shut down
4. No headphones
5. With HDMI ARC, the volume will be controlled by the TV. It can also be an electronic volume control.

What I understood is that you can match (or, in your case, mismatch) each speaker volume with the offset feature. It's not exactly an independent volume level, but it should work for your intended use.
