O-Noorus D3 PRO - A new TPA3255 PFFB amplifier with DAC

No ALEXANDER: Totemis means about that ->

Excuse my french ! Thanks icietdyeur ! yes, i don't know for you... but for listening my stereo music, it's difficult to move my speakers position or to choose the best center place for my ears !
i think, it's easier to adjust the amp's volume (left/right) for each speaker... and adapt easier the sound diffusion for different room configuration...

Hello Totemis :)

I talked about it with ALEXANDER and he will look if it is possible:

I had perfectly understood your 'problems' with the placement of speakers which can happen to other 'users' depending on their listening location and their layout.

Thank you again for your remark ;)

Other questions or enhancements....
- Color/brightness are controlled by remote control or knob ?
- Auto-off, if no sound input after 15 minutes (or adjustable timer) ?
- Headphone output ? better for listening to music at night without disturbing !
- Is Hdmi CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) compatible ?

1. Channel balance will increase, which is only effective when the audio passes through NJW1194. On the master volume, the offset is adjustable within ±5.
2. Color and brightness can be controlled by remote knobs
3. 15-minute countdown to shut down
4. No headphones
5. With HDMI ARC, the volume will be controlled by the TV. It can also be an electronic volume control.

Good news !
Maybe to replace a physical headphone output, your bluetooth chip support two-way (in and out) ? We are a lot using bluetooth iems...

Any new release date to give us? A special ASR user discount for the first 25 buyers?;)

Bluetooth only supports input
Maybe for a future batch or an other innovativ product... An other question about the D3 Pro specs : Two Usb-C input is nice. Only data ? or also 5 volts power output ?
WHY ? In my user case, I have a good Hiby R6III DAP, i use it for listening music with headphone or iems, i also use it like a streamer with Spotify, or music storage.
I have an Usb-C output for analog, data and also to charge it... If the D3 pro has an Usb-C input with power connect, it should be amazing ! No need to use and load it with the battery...
Thanks for my expectation

Hello Alexander,
is there any information on the expected release date of the D3 Pro?
Have the displays arrived at O-Noorus in the meantime?

@Alexander Lin
Question : is that possible to bypass the op amps with these OPA ghost ? If yes : any incidence related to the buffer ? I guess we need a good output voltage from the DAC ?

I think you can extrapolate from the D3 specs since the D3 pro is an improved variant of the D3

@Alexander Lin
How can you make sure that the Digital USB input will show that the amp is not going to be a limiting factor with the AK4493 chip ?
If you check measurements of the AIYIMA A80 we clearly see the amp chip is the limiting factor with the ESS9038Q2M providing transparency.
You really should consider this point.....

That’s obviously nonsense. The A80 has an 88 SINAD, which is clearly limited by the amp, not the DAC. Which is stated literally in the review:

That could be, but what does that have to do with the expected release date I've asked for?

Hello.

The only two 'real amplifiers' that are not a limiting factor for DACs are the TOPPING B100 and B200 amps: just look at the SINAD which exceeds the best DACs in the ranking by more than 20 'points'

But anyway the real limiting factor are the speakers, whatever they are and from VERY far away

Whatever the measurements obtained with the best upstream devices, it is the speakers that we hear in the end it seems to me ;)

We can also measure the latter, as Amir does in these reviews :)

Hi daniboun :)

I don't recommend using this 'GHOST OPA' because it depends directly on the assembly in which it will be set up and it requires 'quite sharp' knowledge because the OPAMP is not always only used for gain in a circuit.

In addition, 'novices' people will install it 'everywhere' where possible, which can represent a risk of significant malfunction of the device concerned or worse of breaking it down :(

I think it's a mistake to sell this type of device: who will take responsibility for it in the event of a problem ?

If we take the Topping PA5 as a reference, which is close to -105dB Sinad under ASR test conditions, I think it would be useful to seriously work on the amp stage. Given the tough competition from the TPA3255, the goal in 2025 is to offer a product that could outperform the PA5, which dates from 2021....
I don't know if an AK4493 DAC has been measured here, but I don't share your opinion regarding the B100/B200 finding.....
By digging deeper, we see that the Topping E30 DAC based on an AK4493 chipset approaches -112db Sinad BTW

Exactly what I meant.... the amp is the limiting factor )
Maybe I wasn't clear... I'm French after all, we're known for our poor language skills lol

Good offer, there will be a discount.

USB2 5V output。

The display panel is already there, we are doing the final test.

I don't understand what it means. Is it a short-circuited OP-AMP buffer?

DAC power supply is a separate LDO independent power supply, will not be affected by USB power supply
