“Iko Kreyòl” celebrates the historical, cultural and spiritual connections between the people and music of New Orleans and Haiti.
When Haïtians - they speak creole and french - are going to New-Orleans... (Orléans is a french town). I've been to Louisiana, I love it.
Take the time to see it, 5 minutes video.
Haïtians are nice people however it's risky to go to Haïti, I know I've been there...
Listen through your HiFi the stereo sound is very good...

below : music from Haïti not Brazil...

Glad you like it.
Haïtians are making extraordinary paintings.... too bad they sell them at a low price.
Haïtians all behind a man called "Toussaint Louverture" have destroyed the army of Napoléon, like the Russians... too bad Toussaint became a dictator...
Jean-Michel Basquiat born in Brooklyn USA from an Haïtian father Gérard Basquiat is/was a graffiti painter (he's dead). Each one of his paintings are worth today between 2 and 14 millions dollars.
Haïti on January 1st 1804 became the first black Republic in the world. They share the same motto as us in France : Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité.
I'm French and white.

Great! Next they might add playing with their teeth and burning their instruments at the end. :)

Zahia Dehar used to be an escort girl for years. She could spend a week or more or less with football players or artists... one day she met Karl Lagerfeld a fashion designer working for Chanel "haute-couture" where he became The Boss.
He helped her finding a real job. She actually designs very beautiful lingerie and she makes MONEY... in France.
