Now This is Art!

Stunning and mesmerizing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Let's give credit to these fantastic artists guys. Unlike when you are on youtube page, in the forum none of the other text and credits is visible. I think these artists deserve a mention:

Sylvie Guillem and Russell Maliphant
After the sell-out success of her two London seasons the legendary Sylvie Guillem returns, joined onstage by Russell Maliphant for the very first time at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Sylvie Guillem is widely regarded as the most 'brilliant ballerina of her generation' THE GUARDIAN

Russell Maliphant has developed a unique approach to choreography, encompassing his vast experience of ballet and contemporary dance as well as capoeira, t'ai chi and yoga, to create a language which is elegant, articulate and resonant.

'A choreographer of persistent accomplishment and a performer of enduring fascination.... mesmerising' THE TIMES on Russell Maliphant

This mixed programme features Push - a duet combining the abilities of this extraordinary partnership set to an original score by Andy Cowton, and a Solo, performed by Guillem to the music of Carlos Montoya. The evening is completed by Shift, Maliphant's signature solo and the powerful, driving solo, Two, performed by Guillem.
Yes I watch this and it's one of the very very few things that make me think our race has some merit after all. It's so beautiful, so utterly mesmerising and captivating it renders time meaningless as it consumes me totally.

Thanks for giving us a platform where such things can be shared amir, we don't want the forum to end up too bloated by other things but this thread is most welcome.

Really enjoyed this. The music in the middle also caught my ears and looked it up and it is from Emiliana Torrini, track "Ha Ha." This is the album: https://play.google.com/music/preview/Tl2cteexdbi5k73njp5cpqr4oqm?u=0#

Oh and these guys are all your age, don't get any ideas guys!

And to think we conquered the world while dancing like this... But you see you can do this dance after a few pints, in fact it's better after a few beers... That's the kind of thinking that made England great. :D
