Was watching the TV program 60 minutes profiling Christopher Wheeldon and they played this wonderful choreography he had done which put him on the map. It is a delightful piece of modern ballet with hauntingly yet soft and hopeful music. The cinematography compliments the mood of the beautiful dancers. Hope you too enjoy it.

Very nice, I always say its the artists that bring so much more to life, and the artists that invent things too. We need them.

Yes, very nice Amir, I liked. ...Nice theater hall too.

Why don't we continue this theme there? Here is Heather Ogden dancing to Leonard Cohen's track, Avalanche, Choreographed by Guillaume Côté. DOP (Director Of Photography) is Jeremy Benning. It is titled Lost in Motion II:

So that we cater to every persuasion, here is the original Lost in Motion being danced this time by Guillaume Côté himself. Not a fan of the synthetic music but the dancing, skill, and videography again is out of this world:

I'll add some local flavour - Australian Aborigine dance companies are flourishing, pushing the boundaries of the styles of their culture:

and to show that our lads have a sense of humour ...

Tango, like so much rock n roll, is beautifully simulated sex.

Arguably all creativity is related to sexuality in one way or another..that's not to say the results or indeed the conscious intent during creation are explicitly sexual but the drive and energy that's behind that creation could be said to of come from this part of ourselves..

This is one of the best things I have ever seen... Enjoy

Stunning and mesmerizing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Let's give credit to these fantastic artists guys. Unlike when you are on youtube page, in the forum none of the other text and credits is visible. I think these artists deserve a mention:

Sylvie Guillem and Russell Maliphant
After the sell-out success of her two London seasons the legendary Sylvie Guillem returns, joined onstage by Russell Maliphant for the very first time at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Sylvie Guillem is widely regarded as the most 'brilliant ballerina of her generation' THE GUARDIAN

Russell Maliphant has developed a unique approach to choreography, encompassing his vast experience of ballet and contemporary dance as well as capoeira, t'ai chi and yoga, to create a language which is elegant, articulate and resonant.

'A choreographer of persistent accomplishment and a performer of enduring fascination.... mesmerising' THE TIMES on Russell Maliphant

This mixed programme features Push - a duet combining the abilities of this extraordinary partnership set to an original score by Andy Cowton, and a Solo, performed by Guillem to the music of Carlos Montoya. The evening is completed by Shift, Maliphant's signature solo and the powerful, driving solo, Two, performed by Guillem.
