I met Woody once at a lecture where he was demonstrating his 'home' version.
Talk about weird and fascinating audio tech...and weaponizable, as well.
I have one of the single speaker (stereo sender, though) units - fun to play with, but not many folks 'appreciate' it's ability to make sound 'just appear' at a distance.
