To answer that post's query: no, the grain structure of a cable's copper is not going to affect how "smooth" the signal's "ride" is and alter it in some way we cannot measure, regardless of the usual bad car analogy by someone who doesn't understand the topic.

And there is the science part.
Dealt with all this for years, I did once believe myself.

Is there any advantages of getting nc252 over nc502 if I don’t need as much power.
I will be using it in stereo. Possibly using a three way for lower intermodulation distortion.
Ie. Is there less distortion when listening at mid to low volume.
I don’t quite understand the sinad vs watts comparison graphs.

We have been conversing on pm and email.

The difference between the modules is the ability to drive larger more demanding speakers louder with the NC502MP and keep audio quality equivalent at lower volumes.

There are some (small) differences in THD+N, SNR, SINAD etc and I can't say whether these are audible or not to anybody under any circumstance ie actually relavent at such respectable figures.

You requested Nord V-L NC502MP over V-L NC252MP initially as a more universally capable amplifier if your requirements changed, without any compromise to sound quality, and I agreed it would be as such.

You can easily overthink these things..

Just fyi, new Nord One NCx252MP now in production with Nord PCSS (tm). SE version will have rerouted front switch signal cable as well.

For sake of further info.

This is a floating shield which works for both rca and xlr by equalising interference over entire cable length and width.

Further improvement would be grounded shield, mostly affecting rca (single ended) but will make virtually zero difference for xlr (balanced) except for impedance imbalance of preceeding preamp/interconnect.

This could be offered as an 'upgrade too far' in near future..
