The iLoud Micro Monitor would be closer, but even that is probably over budget.

I could be wrong, but my perception of Edifiers is that they're too cheap - if they're retailing MR4's for $75USD (as low as $55USD in Asia), each set must cost $20 to manufacture and package...

edifier is not that bad if you don't listen to loud. Using umik and equalizerAPO, I manage to eq mine to match harman curve target at my main listening position (MLP).

The cons is if you play to loud, it will distort.
