What about this one, looks like it only has 2 votes less and is further into the thread too so would have been hampered by that a bit:OK, the winner of the context is @Angenor with his post of Cure's come back track/album: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...rite-track-of-2024-contest.59615/post-2179378
Problem is, he managed to get himself banned in the interim. So let me noodle on this and figure out what to do.....
I was glad that my post got so many likes but I was counting the totals of the other posts and mine didn't get close. However, of the classical posts Angela Hewitt's Couperin got the most votes. What about this one, looks like it only has 2 votes less and is further into the thread too so would have been hampered by that a bit:
I did actually think that this was the one that was gonna win.![]()
Nominate Your Favorite Track of 2024 (Contest)
I only became aware of the pianist Angela Hewitt late this year. She is well known for her multiple recordings of the Well Tempered Clavier and the Goldberg Variations of Bach. She managed to record three generously filled CDs of the music of François Couperin. I never thought anyone could make...www.audiosciencereview.com
@Doodski maybe Amir will give us participation awards.Wowow... From the looks of the few likes my track received I appear to really be on the fringe of music appreciation style... LoL.![]()
Haha... Yes, things may devolve to that.@Doodski maybe Amir will give us participation awards.![]()
Thx for sharing. Wonderful!
I listen to many genres, from East to West. This is a piece that I spent most of the year listen to.
That link is not to your post, so I think you're confused about it? It's a link to @Koeitje 's post and video he linked. Post #28 in this thread.I was glad that my post got so many likes but I was counting the totals of the other posts and mine didn't get close. However, of the classical posts Angela Hewitt's Couperin got the most votes.
Folks, if you don't embed a way to play the track, likely people won't be able to experience the music and vote for you. Do a quick search in youtube and post the link.
Agreed. This is such a good song. It's very Pink Floyd, and Romany's voice is great for this piece. Is there a single music track that really captured your heart in 2024? For me, this was it: the cover song by David Gilmour's daughter, Romany Gilmour: Between Two Points. I especially like this tour rehearsal video. The bass is distorted but the vocals are well recorded, highlighting the calm and beautiful voice of Romany:
The guitar segment at the end by David is a superb bonus, clearly demonstrating his mastery of the instrument.
Just FYI Boss. He was a three time returning/reincarnated previously Banned Member.OK, the winner of the context is @Angenor with his post of Cure's come back track/album: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...rite-track-of-2024-contest.59615/post-2179378

Makes me wonder if the likes were indigenous or herded from elsewhere.Just FYI Boss. He was a three time returning/reincarnated previously Banned Member.![]()
Far better song than the Cure song by a margin.Agreed. This is such a good song. It's very Pink Floyd, and Romany's voice is great for this piece.
