Noble Rex5

$500 Earbuds and in 2-3 years use they'll go to the landfill like all the others because the batteries are dead.
Make it make sense.

Yeah that's what's holding me back, they seem like the absolute best TWS compared to even Technics' AZ100, but knowing when the battery dies the whole product's dead... meh.

I am just a simple user, but I send them back very fast. I think the hype is marketing. Main issues I faced:
- Super flat and low bass out of the box audio. Very bad sound.
- Requires a LOT of equalizing to make it sound OK, but the software is not user friendly, so very frustrating process. You can't edit a saved profile for example.
- Buds are top heavy and bulky so near impossible to get them to fit and even if you do, they slide out in time having a HUGE impact on audio.
- BT connection unstable (many drops) while my old Sennheisers TWS 2 have 0 drops.

WIth these issues even good measurements would not convince me.

I completely agree with your comment and experience. Your points are very valid:

1.The out-of-the-box sound is neither neutral nor natural in my opinion, and the weak bass is definitely true. The sound coloration is very noticeable, especially given the high expectations created by the marketing hype.

2.I also totally agree that the audio requires a lot of EQ tweaking just to make it sound acceptable.

3.You're absolutely right about the unstable Bluetooth connection.

It’s disappointing when products focus more on hype than delivering a reliable user experience. Your feedback is spot on.
