Nice to see such a great album playing on it!I very humbly submit my 1959 Acoustical 3100 with Jobo All Balance tonearm and home made plinth (actually not quite finished but nearly!).

There is something beautiful about the simplicity of the design of this turntable. I love the rich wooden base and the reflective, thick platter in particular.the venerable ARXAView attachment 533692
Looks quite good. Persistence seems to be worthwhile.Sansui SR-929 Almost finished. Strange design, hard to work on. The Arm has to come off, to remove the bottom cover. Leads are soldered to the RCA connectors. Ouch.

I like the fact that it's mobility was thought about!
Nah, that's not snake oil. It's more like nice red wine - not a cost effective way to quench one's thirst, but something that makes one's life more enjoyable.New to me dr. feickert volare with stock origin live silver tonearm and new Nagaoka mp-500.
All this snake oil goes to Waxwing —> Wiim Ultra cause this is jewelry, not technologyView attachment 540564
The pitch compensation feature is nice. One and the only that does this as far as I know, other than I've seen a DIY solution on VE that did this by varying speed along with the off-centre moving tonearm pattern (Technics platform).View attachment 542304My Miniot Wheel 3 upright turntable with optical cartridge. Not for purists but from a design perspective super cool. Sound wise it's absolutly great!

The pitch compensation works flawless. In their former versions they only compensated for horizontal offsets but in this version also for vertical and the result is no wow effect anymore. The pitch compensation feature is nice. I have no idea. They developed this cartridge in house. The optical cart works like DS Audio’s ?
Interesting deck
Basic idea is from 1940s Philco's 'Beam of light' phonograph player. But obviously more refined and precise. Stylus mass is reduced. Would be intresting to see how stylus is pivoted. Typical stylus has elastomer holding it.The optical cart works like DS Audio’s ?

The stylus is not seperatly replaceble. You need to replace the whole cartridge...View attachment 542713
Finally found an image of it on their website. Same basic design as DS Audio but way cheaper and a replaceable stylus.
Interesting turntable
