These are such an awful design. Not surprising, Wilson is not exactly known for sound engineering principles.

There is so much chance for baffle reflections and edge diffraction, and for no obvious benefit. Putting those domes in giant flanges that aren't even flush mounted and then having, inexplicably, a flat baffle tweeter to have literally as much reflections off the baffle as possible... They're incompetent. I don't know how else to describe it, they're incompetent.

An elaborate and absurdly expensive audiophool grift is still just another audiophool grift. One would think nobody with that much money to spend could possibly be that stink-dumb -- but then I look at a certain American administration's team of billionaire moron minions and I realize that it is indeed possible to be both that rich and that frakkin' stupid.

I don't know what looks more ridiculous, that hideous excuse for a loudspeaker system or the dude's professionally braided beard.
