I just came across with this tweeter as a new product on Audiophonics - I am not sure if it is really net new or just new at Audiophonics
I was doing a search here on ASR with zero results so it might actually be a brand new model

Just wanted to share this with the fellow ASR DIYer members here, I think this model might be worth trying
It costs 60 EUR a pair and its off-axis performance seems to be really great up until about 16kHz

Enjoy the weekend everybody!

It's been out for some time now, along with a mid range the CF50. They also have a new 30mm ceramic dome tweeter EC30-4. I haven't seen any projects use any of these drivers yet.

My concern with the CF18 is the impedance graph. I don't want resonances in my tweeter.

I don't want resonances in my tweeter.

Would that impedance ripple really manifest as a resonance in the frequency response and/or in the decay plots?

On another note: I would high-pass this tweeter at around 2.5-3kHz (I would not really go lower than that)
