New Turntable

...As long as you know what you're getting into.

There are albums I really enjoy from beginning to the end. I guess that's the main reason.
CDs and other digital can do that too. And, you don't have to turn a CD over half-way through! :P With other digital formats you can play what comes on a double CD or 2-hour concert all the way through. I have a couple of double-live CDs that I ripped and then edited with a crossfade with the applause/crowd noise so there's no silent gap between "sides".

I've also got a shelf-full of concert DVDs and a couple of Blu-Rays (including a couple of The Who and Pink Floyd). Most of them with surround sound which I really enjoy!
 
Yes I have actually though about CDs. Somehow vinyl feels analog and I think I like the process.

I used to have top of the line Jura automatic coffee machine but last year switched that to La Morocco. I now actually enjoy the process and taste is better too.
