+1 to SVS, maybe SB-2000 Pro or SB-3000.

Or the PC2000 by SVS. Not everyone likes the look of a column sub but I find the performance quite good and I like the looks. they give you a bit of a break on the price if you buy two of them but that would likely be overkill in that small a room, also these have PEQ so you can reduce room modes, probably necessary with a square room and restriction to the corner for placement. I just recently bought a pair for my office and could easily have done fine with only one of them, but they eventually will go in a larger space so bought the pair anyway.

I prefer the sound of a sealed sub for music. It seems to be more textured and tighter and for most music 30hz is deep bass. The ported can go lower but maybe better suited for movies and explosions for deep rumble. Talk to SVS about this subject. Just a phone call away.

BTW... an 11 by 11 size room an SB 1000 will be more than enough.

hi. are you sure 2 x sb 1000 pro can give same low end that pb 2000 pro gives in movies like spectre movie building collapse scene shakes the room room is 13x11feet

if you can manage it money wise, 2 subs (even lesser performing models will at that) will perform much better overall by evening out the bass throughout the room. You will still get variations in bass depending on your listening position but those differences will be much less noticeable with 2 subs.

but my friend says that chest slamming building collapse in movies sealed subwoofer cant do that as ported has more spl in low end like 20hz as more air can be moved. sealed 1000 pro x 2 i can buy easily. as i have already used 1 pb 2000 pro in my room and i run original 4k disks will 2 sb 1000 pro give same low end like pb 2000 pro
