I work for free here and find it can be a lot like dentistry at times.

Sounds like you are complaining about a free website. Does that mean that you are willing to help?

Reminds me of that Golden Rule as to realistically calculate how time consuming any given IT project will be in the end:

Get a »solid« estimation from a proven expert, double that and replace its original time unit by the next larger one.

So if the expert says one day, you better prepare for two weeks.

Aw right ... If that expert works for free, then just triple the original time unit:

1 day will turn out to be 2 months.
