With the Solstice series, Triangle has announced a successor to the Esprit line. The design isn't really my taste, and from a marketing perspective, I find it strange to discontinue a well-known and established series with legendary models like the Antal, Comete, and Titus, and completely rebuild the mid-range under a new label. On the other hand, Triangle seems to be taking a risk here and trying quite a few new things. I'm definitely curious to see the reviews.

I do like the looks, especially the teak version and those tweeters are highly recognizable and a visual feature IMO.

Also the product naming for the line up is nowuch clearer, the different models are identified by a simple integer, like BMW.

Triangle Solstice 8/3 is much less confusing and less of a mouth full than Triangle Esprit Comete/Titus/Antal EZ.

I have to say like the series these are replacing, Triangle makes beautiful looking speakers.
