Ok so i had 4800h and had to sell it for some reason. I want to try marantz this time. I will be powering up dali rubikore 6+ rubikore centre channel+ opticon 2 mk2 as rear pair and 4 atmos speakers. Someone said we can only select 6 and 8 ohms in settings but all these speakers are 4 ohms only will it work? Also Can cinema 40 not do 7.x.4 without any amp? Also i am getting denon x6800h for 2.13lakhs INR and this cinema 40 for 1.75lakhs but cinema 30 is very costly here 2.75lakhs INR. How should i proceed?

The Cinema 40 is the overpriced version of the 4800 you just let go.
cinema 30 here is 3200 usd =2.85lakhs INR and denon x6800h 2400usd. Id i have to use amp then i dont think i need these models. i have small room length is 13 feet but i have habit of 70 volume. Even cinema 40 is 1982 usd here

If you're using external amps, even the 3800 would be fine. The only reason to get the 6800 and the Cinema 30 clone is for the 13 channel processing (that still needs amp for 2 channels since it can do 11 channels on internal amp).

Also, whoever told you to run an AVR in low impedance mode is giving you really bad advice. The low impedance switch is there so that manufacturers can say their product can run a low impedance load without getting sued ("cover your ass" feature):

So keep it at 8ohm always? No matter what speaker we use

Yes, 4ohm setting reduces the voltage rail so not really helpful. With 70/100 volume you would probably be OK with 3800H. For the difference to more expensive models you can always add some cheaper amp to take off the load from AVR - if needed, which is unlikely for the volume.

When not driven into distortion, they all sound the same. You will not get better sound from a different amp than from the Denon 4800h. I use a Fosi Audio V3 with my 4800, but only to keep the heat down internally in the Denon so it hopefully will live for many years

It is more about design nowadays than brand. I'd go D class Hypex or Purifi designs and brand that is available for a fair price in your market.

But not sure you really need it, except for the peace of mind. Did not mention how wide is the room, but if roughly in line with 13ft length then with 70/100 volume and 80hz or higher crossover to sub/s, you should be OK with the AVR powering your speakers.

13x11feet room only. So without amp no issues?

Yes, the default 8 ohm setting gets you the best chance at power for low impedance speakers.

If your room is small, the 4800 should have been more than enough. What didn't you like about the 4800?

Edit: I consider 13x11 small (assuming this is feet and not meters).
