Any critiques welcome, I’m a newb but think I’ve found a solid setup. It’s a new build, so curtains and room treatments will be added.

If details help; Focal Aria Evo x3, 2x JL Audio E-110 subs, Rotel 1582, Eversolo DMP-A10, Technics SL-1500C Ortofon Blue. More sub integration and tuning is planned. I have the Dayton mic. I understand this is is a measurements forum, but visually/aesthetically, does it work for you?

Thanks

Congrats, looks great! My only notes: putting the turntable right between the subs might cause unwanted feedback. And I assume you don't have a lot of options but putting the speakers further apart might be desirable for a more impressive stereo image. If you have flexibility on placement you might be able to derive even better sound. Especially when it comes to the subs and fighting room modes.

Lovely view out the window! I would pay attention to whether the subs have been properly located and how well they have been integrated.

But since you asked about aesthetics ...

I hope that you get rid of those cardboard boxes behind your seat. It looks as if you have just moved in, it does not have a "lived in" feel. Maybe get some indoor plants and more furniture. Hang some art on the wall.

I also don't like overhead lighting when i'm listening. You know that every home needs four types of lighting? General illumination (overhead lights), task lighting (e.g. study lamps, kitchen lights), accent lighting (e.g. for art pieces and paintings), and decorative/mood lights. At night, the only lights that are on are from table lamps and mood lights.

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, we are still in the process of moving in and the boxes will go away ;-)

Lighting and art, etc, should come over time.

Overhead lighting off and calmer mood lighting added. Still need to break down the boxes
