New Product: Kali IN-5-C, Mountable IN5 from Kali Audio for Surround/Atmos Applications. (IN-5 c, IN5-c)

Anyone remember when Kali briefly sold mounting brackets for their monitors? I wish they'd bring those back for the IN-5 monitors I already have. These are a step in the right direction though!

The Orbit mounts they recommend are about $200, bringing the price to about $1200 per pair mounted.

Sorry if this has been posted, I've searched for several combinations of I N 5 and C.

Comparing a 5.1.2 (most basic) Atmos surround system with similar SPL specs:

$4,400 Atmos System with Kali: 3x Kali IN8v2, 4x Kali IN5c, WS12 Subwoofer.
$36,400 Atmos System with Genelec: 3x Genelec 8361, 4x Genelec 8351b, 7380 Subwoofer

Better bass extension, integration, room calibration, accuracy, and dispersion on the Genelec system, but holy price difference. Time to add some Kali monitors to my current surround Frankensystem:

Have you heard any mention of these brackets being sold separately for existing IN-5 owners? I don't see a separate SKU anywhere as of yet.

Are the v2's so different that these brackets couldn't be used with the v1's? Maybe there's some added bracing internally to support the mount with the IN-C's? I have the IN-8's and the cabinet alone definitely doesn't feel like it could support its own weight or any torque (maybe not the right word) that may be introduced from mounting

They used to for a brief period but they were discontinued. I remember seeing them online or on Kali's facebook page.

I just saw that the IN-5-C with the built-in wall/ceiling mount is now listed on Sweetwater's website "coming soon". They'll be priced $50 more than the standard version.
