Wow awesome! So it's possible to power on the amp and change the volume using the TV remote control?Yes, HDMI is CEC compatible.
The ARC volume can be adjusted via the TV remote control, but the D4 cannot be turned on or off.Wow awesome! So it's possible to power on the amp and change the volume using the TV remote control?
How?The ARC volume can be adjusted via the TV remote control, but the D4 cannot be turned on or off.
This requires understanding TV HDMI ARC, D4 supports CEC, increase the volume in the PCM audio stream. Then decode it through the DAC, although the position of the potentiometer remains unchanged. The final volume is increasedHow?
I see flag on volume trigger and it says what he have min/max position and can not be change anywhere else
The hi-pass filter needs to be switchable. There are plenty of us that run the front speakers in the HT in full-range mode because we prefer to do it that way. Why in the world would anyone pay good money for full-range speakers and then intentionally take away useful bottom end support by imposing an always on hi-pass filter?I think I didn't word my first post correctly!
I was meaning to say that having a high pass filter on the mains is much more preferable especially on a "PRO" model, most traditional amps still allow you to connect a sub or sub amp with crossover and phase control anyway.
What is the buyer is looking in something like the D4 or the upcoming D3 PRO?
After lurking for so long it comes down to a cut down WiiM AMP with high pass/low pass features and none of the fluff.
I don't think pricing being higher due to implementing high pass is an issue if its the feature people actually want! I'm still strongly considering the WiiM AMP PRO but it has many features I don't care for!
HPF being switchable would definitely be nice! The hi-pass filter needs to be switchable. On sale March 5Is there any update on the O-noorus D3 PRO? Or should I just go for the mentioned Douk Audio A5 or O-noorus D4 for the DBR62? What would you guys do, please?
Never think about it.O-noorus D4
AliExpress processing is not that fast, please be patient.Never think about it.
Just buy one.
And it is a really peace of crap.
Bluetooth? Connecting but no sound - useless
Hdmi? Bad sound with noises - useless
Line in ? Bad sound with noises - useless
Idle mode? Noises
So many problems in one device? Really?
Better can send me a stone- no time lost on testing.
Writing to seller (o-noorus off store) and they answer is bring me a part of money.
Part of my money and peace of crap? Perfect deal.
Thing does not work, just making terrible noises.
I send it where they say and get no moneyback
Just punks, what think only about 100$ in their hands and have no idea about clients satisfaction.
I think they are bad people.
Bad people can not make good amplifiers.
Hello.
Are there other people who have encountered the same type of problem as meta1984 ?
Apparently this unit seems to be failing, this can happen even to brands such as TOPPING (I have already personally encountered the case with a PA5II that was replaced quickly).
However:
- during the first video, we have no reference of the source used (make, model, features,...).
We can clearly hear a fault on the amplifier's input !
The OPAMPS may have 'moved' from their DIP8 base during a somewhat 'rough' transport, which could explain this
We don't know if the source used was tried on another device and works properly, but we imagine that it is...
-during the second video, we hear interference very clearly in the background while the amplifier is turned off: where does it come from then ?
It is also noted that no input is connected to the device.
The amplifier is placed directly on the speaker (this is not done) and this entry-level model of SONY 'mini-system' should not see any shielding of its speakers, we can imagine how the internal components of the amplifier's power circuit react
In addition, a long length of cable for the loudspeaker is arranged coiled just close to the loudspeaker and the amplifier: this forms a superb antenna for receiving the high frequencies produced by the switching power supply that must not be far from it !
In short, we are very far from what is normally recommended for the use in good conditions of any hi-fi device...
It's a shame that I'm not near you because I would have been happy to come to 'clarify' this undeniable dysfunction.
Kind regards.
You starting from my cables, speakers and everything what "i doing wrong" when i just try to show what device is broken in superposition where all peaces in picture and every components are simplest. Help for what? I send it back to seller. I hope they are know how to fix it and sell to another lucky guy.Good evening.
What do you mean by 'trying to wash your hands' ?
For your information, I have nothing to do with the O-NOORUS company, I am just a customer, like you, who bought them another model (the O-NOORUS D1) with which I have never encountered a problem of any kind.
I even posted a 'MOD' here that makes it still perform well even though it is already very good from the start.
I'm just trying to understand what could have happened to you with your amplifier but if it bothers you then I won't intervene anymore...
Good evening to you.
