Not that it would matter, but I bet it will look much more like the KH 310 than the KH 420. That tall cabinet with stacked drivers wouldn't make any sense at all for a small near- or midfield speaker.

Point is that they don’t need to rush. The KH 310 and 420 are still exceptional and actually DSP functions in the loudspeaker are less needed nowadays.

Other than its LF SPL handling, frankly there isn't a particularly gigantic amount to improve upon. You can make quibbles either way about analog active vs DSP active and class AB vs class D. Making those improvements takes time.
