I'm extremely confused. I MA1 calibrated KH 120 IIs with a Motu M2 interface but now I have no idea how to use my SMSL PO 100 Pro as a playback device with the DSP and other settings such as limiting the volume so I can go above 10 on Windows volume. When I try it does not use them. Am I forced to use the interface for it to work? This is so confusing!
It seems like the volume adjustment I make is not saved when I do this. I end up having to use them at 4% Windows volume with my SMSL digital interfacejust save your alignment after calibration and change your interface, thats all. You can launch MA1 software at any time to change volume or any saved alignment, no need to connect mic or calibration interface back.

I cannot get my speakers to play from spdif without switching to local, but switching to local makes the settings not apply.just launch MA software again and set any volume you want. You dont need to connect measurement interface to do that
Okay never mind I got it fixed now! Turns out I had to use these settings and make a profile with them. I was confused since I thought this was the connectors on my motherboard. I have no idea what they mean by HD Audio output 1 and 2 and when I clicked on play test tone the program crashed every time without fail so I assumed this was for sure not the right device, but doing this worked.I cannot get my speakers to play from spdif without switching to local, but switching to local makes the settings not apply.
Since the Neumann MA-1 Automatic Monitor Alignment software has supported stereo subwoofers since version 2.9.3, and succeeding versions have had fixes/improvements for this feature, has anyone here managed to successfully align and bass manage two Neumann subwoofers with it? Is it even worth-it?
I tried, but the second KH750 DSP sub I just got isn't even detected in the set up menu even after much troubleshooting so I couldn't move forward with the alignment. I've already arranged with the seller for a replacement unit since the network input on the sub seems like it isn't working, but now I'm having doubts if having stereo subs would even be worth it at this point. The single sub sounded fine but the null at around 35Hz kind left me with the nagging feeling to fix it.
I was never completely satisfied with just one KH750, and it was only with the second one that the bass could no longer be located.
What causes the zero at 35 Hz? Could you describe your setup and your room?
Hi! Actually, this KB Article is outdated as of todayI don't know if everyone know this but I found a special wiring for the stereo sub to work properly in the system. I don't know if it's specific for the 750 with the 310s, but didn't know until last week and bass lived again.
Thanks for clarifying that.Hi! Actually, this KB Article is outdated as of today
Last month, I connected my KH120A and two KH750DSPs using the method shown in that link. I noticed that the low-frequency sound pressure felt too high and was making me a bit dizzy. After checking with Neumann, they told me that the graph here is outdated and that the latest MA-1 can properly handle stereo sub integration without using a Y-splitter cable.
