New Neumann KH 310 II and KH 350 Rumors: Leaked Pricing & Info

And using Genelec The Ones for film mixing? Simply perfect, regardless of what the measurements say.
The measurements say that the Ones are pretty close to perfect. I don't know where you find this contradiction between measurements and listening.

Regarding the newer smaller models, my only concern would be the unreliability of digital amp modules. At least one could come to that conclusion, reading the many user complaints about failures within and after warranty. Is this still a good investment? And how long term reliable will the larger models be (KH310 II and KH350)?

How cool would KH 350 (both for that matter) be if it had a removable amp like KH 420. The problem with all of these for home immersive use is the plate amps, which require running signal and power. So much extra hassle and expense. But if you could keep the amp in a rack and just run speaker wire then they’d find a nice niche IMO.

I don't understand the negativity. I really spent a lot of time with EQ, but MA1 just gave me the best results. (I have not tried the new Dirac ART yet). Also, as far as i know, Genelec does not have a real 310 competitor. (i think the 8341 is too different). The 350 will be placed against the 8351 though. I don't care for the 310 II, but i expect the 350 to be an almost perfect speaker for almost everyone. I don't know it and i have not been to the listening event, but simply because of what Neumann managed to achieve with the 120 II vs 120 and the 150. The 420 is way too big for most private rooms, even if it were cheaper it is not really attractive for a lot of people, i think.
If my expectations are correct, the only competition for the 350 will be the 8351 and maybe the Mesanovich CDM 65 or much more expensive and sophisticated systems.
All three will have their own pros and cons, but i expect the 350 to be at least the best of the bunch in terms of bass. Also, personally, i just don't enjoy the Genelec sound, so i think it is good to have more options.
I mean, the 350 could be an absolute dream of a speaker with very little disadvantages, for well below 10.000 EUR, or something like half of a D & D 8c.
BTW, the "plastic" comment almost makes me angry. I have both the old metal 120 and the new 120 II and the new model is so much better in every way. I think they almost did wonders in making an already good products much better, and people are moping about "plastic"...
I can fully understand why many people are satisfied with the system itself, everyone has their own unique experiences, after all. Since I use 4x DIY subwoofers for my home cinema anyway, this whole MA1 aspect is irrelevant to me. The "negativity" stems from the fact that during the years I owned the MA1 (starting about 3–4 years after its release), there were frequent issues and a lack of available products (But i dont want to critize it, because i dont own it anymore since a long time). However, those are just my personal experiences and don't necessarily reflect what others have gone through - which is perfectly fine, as not every system is right for everyone.

Then about the ,plastic,. Fundamentally, Neumann does a phenomenal job; otherwise, the speakers wouldn't deliver such impressive measurement results. Still, plastic simply feels cheaper than, say, the aluminum housing of a Genelec speaker; it just has a different feel and status - A friend of mine from Hamburg has the 8341s, and in terms of build quality, they are obviously on a different level that’s for sure. Whether that bothers you is something you have to decide for yourself. I personally can live with the neumann quality. So, don't take my criticism about the material too seriously.

Anyway, I’m glad there are new models coming out, and I’m looking forward to the initial measurements and reviews. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough space in my Front area due to a door otherwise, the new model would definitely be something I’d want to try out in my cinema. Maybe there will be a listening event in my area at some point, "Die Hörzone" (the Neumann dealer from the event) - where i buy also my KH150 & 2x Pair of KH80 - is located on the complete opposite side of the country.

Btw @jhaider that would be an realy great solution. I bought so many XLR Cables for my System. I use 8x Speaker at the moment. So 8x XLR + 8x Powercables… and always this long distances.

I received this statement by Neumann on 24.06.2026:
Zusätzlich möchte ich Ihnen auch noch eine noch nicht veröffentlichte Information zukommen lassen:

Auf der IBC-Show am 11. September 2026 werden wir ein Nachfolgeprodukt zum KH 310 A präsentieren.
Dieses Modell (KH 310 II) wird ebenfalls über einen DSP und neueste Verstärkertechnologie enthalten.

Ich hoffe so etwas weitergeholfen zu haben und verbleibe

Mit freundlichen Grüßen

...

Kinda seems like the first official non-NDA statement by Neumann.

Cheers

The KH350 looks wow
But I bet the price is unfortunately also wow lol

Hey,

due to my previous conversation with Neumann I received yet another info today:

Vermutlich werden wir in Zukunft nur noch digitale Monitore und Sub's mit integrierten DSP anbieten......

Ich hoffe so etwas weitergeholfen zu haben und verbleibe

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
(yes, they replied with "......")

Stating that - maybe - they will only offer digital KH Products in the future! So if you are like me and need analog for some reason, its maybe the last chance to get some KH310A etc.

Cheers

Well, it should be no surprise that Neumann is phasing out their analog monitors with each model update to further support their MA-1 ecosystem.

Holding off judgement until I see both price and measurements. I am guessing that the prices are going to be high enough, such that I remain happy with my current KH310As.

I use subs and don't need MA1 or onboard DSP as I use it upstream. And I am always wary of the reliability of new unproven internal amplifiers. Particularly Class D.
Definitely curious to see how the new models compare tho. However the secrecy/hype... and drawn out release date all seems a bit daft to me.

It's €3800 including VAT?
Wow
Expensive

No offense and, really, buy what you want, but if you look for good measurements, like on this site, you'll find better reference points for your decision. I have not seen measurements for the SCM25
Any true ATC fanatic will tell you that any ATC speaker is always better than any other speaker. Simply better. Just better. :D

And once upon a time, long ago and for a short time, Klein+Hummel sold O800 ARAM.. :(
I wonder how much and in what way is KH350 better than O410 and O500?

Oooof this is a bit to digest having just bough my KH310A a few months ago. I did know they were rumored to come out at some point and, to be honest, didn't have much interest in paying more for a DSP version.

My curiosity about this release made me fall into the very impressive rabbit hole of feed-forward correction and the ways DSP can minimize distortion beyond a speaker's physical limitations.

It is not just a question of paying "more", it's actually more a question of whether you are willing to pay twice the price of the KH310A.
For me, it would be a hard no.

I would like to know what any true Neumann fanatic would say about their favorite speaker brand compared to others? ;)

Great move! Honestly, I don't know why I don't know any K+H fanatics. Maybe any ATC is just better than any other? :D

At least when the neumann fans say their stuff is good, you can go look at a spin and see that the fan fare is warranted. Hard to know what atc is really like with that obfuscated data.

I'm a big neumann fan and kinda think they'll lose best-in-class status if this price point is true lol

As it stands the kh420s are a great value and they're simple and rugged with a good plate amp design and thermal solution. The now legacy KH310 is also in this camp but very SPL limited.

I'm not sure where the cheaper ones will land.

The first comparison that comes to mind is the Genelec S360. 2-way vs. 3-way, but I expect extension, max SPL and horizontal directivity to be similar. The next is of course a KH150 with the directivity control shifted lower.
The S360's max SPL is ridiculously high, even when not bass managed, for its size. 106dB/1m anechoic is unbelievably loud (figure a pair in room will probably be closer to 115dB or so) and I'm not sure this will get there - Neumann seems to prefer doing more bass extension over more SPL.
