Yes thanks. Its been about a year getting everything but I am finished upgrading for a long time I hope. This site has helped a lot in decision making on what to get. The computer was the last upgrade. Went from a intel 3.4 ghz i5, 1866 ram to the 3800x and samsung b-die at 3600mhz at 14 timings. I did notice a difference, everything is faster.
Paired with a Adi-2 dac, Thx-aaa headphone amp and Adam Audio speakers.

It's nice when it finally comes together and you can just enjoy it. I put my current system together a couple years ago, and happy to not even be thinking about needing an upgrade.

Grats.

Nice and clean. I have recently built a new rig which I intend to integrate to my home audio once I land on which gear to get. There is a place for them to mix I feel. Went with a Lian Li Glass Case w/ MSI and i9 cpu - save all the details for another forum. None the less, digital audio can and should allow for integration even with legacy gear. Now if I could put some classic analog BIG VU's in the case!

This is what it looks like now. More of a black/white build. 5 intake fans, 4 exhaust, and two heatsink fans keeps the noise to a minimum while allowing performance. Also CPU-Z benchmarking scores.

Looks great, I wish my PC looked that nice inside, but too lazy to care, and my fingers are too fat, stiff and sore to work in such tight spaces.

Well my eyes are starting to dim and becoming more dificult to focus. My last computer was all black sitting close to the floor and I got tired of getting down to floor level with a flashlight, glasses on with my nose in the case. The decision for white and lights on everything came down to that.

@Rod I hear ya, there myself, plus my good old Silverstone Fortress 02 case weighs a frigging ton, hate having to move it anywhere.
Was looking at some cases recently, will keep the white color scheme in mind!

It really helps. And the glass side helps me keep an eye out for dust build up.

Well, in a benchmarking program called "Geekbench 5" I hit the top score for single core performance(so far) among all the recently releases Ryzen 3000 chips(#10 in the chart). Added a few more things too.

Wow that’s a lot of fans. Maybe I should try that with my home desktop, the damn thing sounds like an airplane about to take off.

The cpu runs at 33c with the ambient temp being about 24.5c at idle. I run all the case fans at about 700-800 rpm with the cpu fans at 1200 rpm. That seems to be the sweet spot for noise and keeping the temps on the cpu down. If I crank up all the fans to high speed with the front filter off the temp drops about about one degree c but the noise goes to unacceptable levels. Kinda tells me I am removing the heat and there's enough air flow so there's not much to gain for all the noise. The drop in temp could mostly be from removing the front fan filter too.

I changed it again. I took some packaging tape and compartmentalized the top exhaust area and made one of the top fans an input fan instead of exhaust. Used an extra fan guides that I had and have it blowing onto the ram and cpu fan area. Cant see the tape through the black dust filter.
