The $1100 "super mini" is mostly designed for matching Philharmonic Audio fronts with a smaller, less capable rear channel.

I have not seen these mentioned or reviewed. Reviews might be scarce since this is a limited availability product.

The pic you show is for the new super mini, but I think the specs you have listed are for the original true mini,, not this newer super mini.
 
Or as noted above, for rears in a multi-channel setup.

I love the look and design of speakers from this company, they are definitely on my "to get" list for the years ahead.

I am using the Super Mini right now as surrounds with my BMR Monitor LCR and they are excellent and a pretty substantial upgrade from the old Infinity RC152s I used to have while being substantially smaller. They are not difficult to drive but I am powering them with the 3e Audio A7 Stereo amp, while powering the LCR BMRs with Buckeye Purifi 2nd gen 3 channel amp. No issues at all with that pairing.
