Dayton Audio OmniMic 40k Precision Measurement Microphone System
Dayton Audio
Part #390-794
Model: OmniMic 40k

The Dayton Audio OmniMic 40k is a powerful and precise all-in-one acoustic measurement system, perfect for optimizing audio systems at any level. Featuring a durable USB omnidirectional microphone capable of calibrated measurements from 5 Hz to 40,000 Hz with high fidelity and minimal variance, even off-axis. The included PhotoLink device allows accurate time-of-flight to calculate the Acoustic Origin Offset (AOO), essential for speaker design and system calibration. With capabilities including frequency response, SPL, harmonic distortion, and room acoustics analysis, along with intuitive software, the OmniMic 40k provides professionals and hobbyists with everything needed to design and refine audio systems.
Key Features
Accurate response from 5 to 40,000 Hz using the unique calibration files
High dynamic range allows precise and distortion free measurements up to 145 dB
Instantly calculates acoustic time-of-flight providing actual delay and true phase response
Built-in 2.83 volt indicator for standardized frequency measurements
Measures 3rd order harmonic distortion up to 13,333 Hz
Quick and easy setup, even beginners will be making precision measurements in minutes
Measures frequency response, true phase, distortion, SPL, loudspeaker compression, and much more

they also have a new DATS.

they also have a new DATS.

I was going to point it out.... but hey the amp part only justifies the price even with the integration aspect but I would like to know more about:

""Its patented symmetry test method uses multiple DC-biased sweeps to analyze non-linearity and asymmetry—capabilities once limited to high dollar test systems.""
