New JDS Labs Phono Preamp

Not sure if it got mentioned somewhere else or not, but JDS Labs sent out an announcement earlier this week for their new Atom Phono preamp/tone control box. Same size as the Atom DAC and headphone amp for the stackers.

The specs are a little misleading, using 15 mV input voltage for SNR. For 5 mV then you have to reduce SNR by 10 dB. I just added this comment:

To make SINAD and SNR specifications of the RIAA section comparable with other brands please add the values for 5 mV input voltage – kind of an industry standard.

They published the @ 5mV SNR as 78 dB this week.
Considering some turntables don't even publish SN ratio and others are worse than 78, it's not bad .
