New Hypex Nilai500DIY modules )

Since this new amp will be out soon, is it fair to expect a lot of new versions from manufacturers that already used Ncores? I´m asking the actual pros on this forum, like Boxem. With the data you currently see, is it a consistent upgrade?

It will not happen, like the NC400 the Nilai will not be available to OEM customers....

From the information I have from Hypex they plan to release Nilai modules for OEMs in the future. This particular module is for DIYers.

I am already very happy with nCore hope they offer a better DSP with Airplay and MacOSx support in the preamp that they want to launch. I will dump my miniDSP

sorry for not responding for such a long time. been very busy with all the shows etc.
pricing information on the Nilai products and preamp have been shared before already. Availability still not exactly known yet. We do expect to have stock in roughly 4 months.

@Hypexsales please let it have 2 pairs of outputs and with high-pass/low-pass filters for speakers+sub systems, that would be killer!

The Preamp will have two sets of balanced outputs along with 2 sets of triggers but there are no plans to add a DSP. the Preamp does work perfect with our FusionAmps which can do the speaker filtering.

the Nilai500DIY is intended for the DIY customers. We cannot stop any manufacturer to use the same module. With the Nilai technology we will eventually design other products for other markets but no plans on the table yet.

I hope the tech eventually gets to car amps and get some big actors (Sound United, McIntosh, NAD...) implementing it too.
