New Genelec Main Monitor

W371 do also work as stands for the Ones.

I wonder what kind of wiring/connections would be made if Ones+W371 is used in a multi channel 5/7.x.y setup. Will x be 2 or 1 or 0? Normally receivers have dedicated sub out, but W371 recommended wiring is inline-path of Ones.
I believe the "one"/W371 stack is always a single full range channel.

To me that's the biggest consideration with either one, where are you going to put that damn ugly and huge subwoofer? :)

In white they look pretty nice

IMO ugly speakers thread is nice place for this. No matter the color, even in orange-green-black it will be ugly. Sorry, I'll go and drink some tequila and cognac, for me it was a sad, heavy, difficult, unpleasant sight
BTW, here's an example of a decent combination of orange, green and black:.

ps: @Pearljam5000 , sometimes I want to like the like I received, this is exactly the case now  .

I can say that the White subwoofer in this picture is definitely too big for this setup. But they are all wonderfully delicious treats. Not every boy gets to taste such delicacies, let alone even bigger Genelec delicacies. YUM YUM...

So I guess for an immersive setup you are forced to have a sub or live without lfe
Depends what you want.
The W371 goes low enough in frequency for music and the software gives at least 2 ways of optimising the bass at the listening position, one is cardioid and the other uses the location of the bass drivers relative to room boundaries to even the response at the LP.
Which works best, and whether this is adequate will depend on the room, loudspeaker position and listening position.
It is entirely possible another sub may be helpful to even the bass, though if you have 5 8351/W371 stacks for surround I would imagine GLM should be able to get pretty even bass down to 20 to 25 Hz at the LP, the -6dB point of the W371 is 23Hz.
