Just saw this little ditty pop up in my email. At a $150, I couldn't say no. I have the JDS labs Element IV connected to my Mac Studio for work.

I'm going to put this on my night stand at my bedside connected to my iPad Mini, and make this my night-night amp. We'll see how it goes.

At $150 fully balanced with 2300mW, this lands right in the DX3 Pro+/K11 sandbox - so the interesting question is whether the "smart tuning" is real DSP or just preset shelves; if it is the latter I would leave it flat. Fosi's last few DAC-amps measured fine for the money, so hopefully one finds its way to Amir. Curious what you think once it is on the nightstand.

Welp. I ordered the new Fosi ZH1, and they shipped me the ZH3. ...which also appealed to me. ...now the quandary is, do I send the ZH3 back and have them ship me the ZH1, or tell them to add $50 to my purchase, and keep the ZH3 - especially knowing how well received the ZH3 is...

I'm assuming the ZH3 will pair well with my DCA Noire X.

Can anyone confirm the PEQ works in UAC 1.0 mode?

The PEQ on the DS3 did not work in UAC 1.0 mode (even though on the web interface it allowed you to change the parameters in UAC 1.0 mode) it didn't actually apply any PEQ.

Another question is how TPA6120 with resistors at output will work with low impedance over-ear planars?
