Looks like Fiio has released a new TPA3255 based amplifier with coax, line, USB and bluetooth input. It is listed on apos.audio, fiio-shop.de and aliexpress for ~$140 pre-tax.

Features mention parametric EQ in Fiio Control which could mean their usual 10 band. There is a subwoofer out, but the product page does not elaborate whether a crossover is configurable.

(spec page currently only visible with site language set to Chinese)

Advertised distortion is suspiciously high for the class.

Maybeomeone will send one to Amir. Price is great.

It's quite a looker I think.

Glad to see PEQ controlled wirelessly is now a baseline feature.

No mention of PFFB so I assume it doesn't.

If the PEQ is flexible enough, it can compensate for the TPA3255's load-dependent high frequency response curve, making distortion reduction the only remaining PFFB advantage AFAICT.

TBH I never heard a noticeable difference between a non-PFFB Fosi V3 and a PFFB'ed Topping PA5 II myself.

If you're a male over 50, you physiologically can't -- that dependency is confined to frequencies such folks can't hear.

Solid amp, dac, bluetooth, EQ, sub out, all in one very low priced unit. I like it like that.

Well I pre-ordered it, looks so good in black with that dark wood as an accent, noticed on the APOS page that to change input you need to use the app on your phone? Huh? why? this should be a button or a selector switch or something.. not a function in an app that you have to have your phone connected to.

I did notice that but then thought the Fiio's product page might have some more details.
But APOS page clearly shows that input selection is available via app, which I guess would also be used for EQ etc.

Yeah, and it's not like I will be changing inputs all that much, just going to hook it up to my computer I have out in the garage and some old Polk speakers, should be fine with just the usb connection. Still it should have a selector in the device, and not need an app for that.

They also missed to mention the DAC used in this product, most like older ESS or another mass market chip but still should mention.

Thank you, @tjaa, what model is this one. The link points to K11 R2R (Headphone Amp) but the photo is a different unit....

Great find, thanks.
Clearly inspired by Yamaha, just hope that led can be turned off
