New Fiio BR15

does anyone know if this issue has been fixed ? i recently upgraded my desktop speakers to rpm-500 mkii and i'm moving the sub and little jbl 130 to the living room along wioth my current fosi ZA3/ZD3 since the a3 has hdmi that i dont need back here . i do have a schiit headphone amp that i'd like to keep using in our bedroom . the EQ feature is very appealing to me !

i'm planing of the topping mini 300 to replace the zd3 . i'm wanting to keep the cost down but get decent equipment . i was considering the topping dx1ii but i don't like the funky balanced out and i think it has issues connecting rca and balanced out like the br15 . i didn't want to spend $200 on a DAC , but ..... . if the BR15 has that resolved it would be in the running . i keep looking at the damn topping dx5ii ! it seems to be much much higher quality that my old abused ears could appreciate and it's 300 BUCKS ! but i keep telling myself NO ! it's too pricy .

anyhow ..... if the br15 is %100 good to go (as is) connecting and using rca and xlr out at the same time ( without buying a different power supply) i think i'll go that route . otherwise i'm kinda stuck between the topping dx1ii or going the YOLO route dx5ii . if i have to get a different PS for the br15 to work right it's off my list .
also open to suggestions .

I do not face this issue. Have Iloud MTM Mk II + PreSonus Sub8. Not in passthrough mode though. Keep it roughly on 50%.
What i do have issue with though is USB disconnecting randomly when EQ is applied.
Had long discussion with Fiio support, but there is no solution has been found. Has anyone else experienced the same?

i'll be using USB input %99 of the time and the EQ option is a VERY attractive feature to me .
since Fiio seems to essentially be wishing you good luck in your future endeavors support wise i'll spend my money elsewhere .
i have zero desire to support a company the give the middle finger to customers seeking help to make their devices work as advertised !

to be fair to them they tried to find a solution but seems that it is a hardware issue, hence curious if others experience the same
