Sorry, but Asclibab has no doubt zero chance against these monsters. (SPL/Compression wise).

I'd go with D&D or Genelec
Obviously I don't have anything against AsciLab I just don't know enough about them and prefer "older" brands

It was not that long ago that people on this very site were complaining that D&D were too new to be confident in purchasing from! Lol

The purifi 12inch cardioid system from Ascilabs may be a contender? Iam also guessing will be considerably cheaper.

My expetience with the 8c was that it was allready more than capable in even large rooms.

Well I was the first to complain that the originals couldn't move enough air to really be a TOTL contender,
I think this one just might.
